Note-Passing Robber Hits MWC Bank Of Oklahoma

A note-passing bandit held up a Bank of Oklahoma branch in Midwest City this afternoon.

A note-passing bandit held up a Bank of Oklahoma branch in Midwest City Saturday afternoon. The robbery happened shortly after 1 p.m. at the bank's location inside Crest Market at 249 North Douglas Boulevard.

James Finch of the FBI says the white male presented a note at the tellers counter which stated: "100's, 50's, 20's, Now!"

The teller complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber gathered the money and was last seen leaving the grocery store southbound through the parking lot.

No weapon was seen and no on e was injured.

The robber was described as a white male, approximately 5'11" in height, 20 to 30 years of age, and weighing approximately 180 to 200 pounds. He wore an orange Oklahoma State pullover hoodie, blue jeans, black snow cap with flowers on it and strings with black balls on the end, sunglasses and black gloves.

The FBI and the Midwest City Police Department are both investigating the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (405) 290-7770. Callers may remain anonymous.

The Oklahoma Banker's Association is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the robber.
