A man pulled over for traffic violations is accused of trying to hide drugs in his underwear.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers stopped a car Tuesday morning at S.W. 66th Street and Penn for traffic violations. Troopers first checked the passenger's background and learned 28-year-old Richard Thorton had outstanding warrants for assault and concealing stealing property.

Troopers then turned their attention to the driver, 23 year old Miguel Cavers. During a search, Cavers complained about an injured leg and insisted on holding onto his pants. When a trooper patted him down, a bag of meth and a bag of synthetic marijuana fell out of his pants.

Troopers said Cavers was trying to hide the drugs in his underwear.

Troopers arrested Cavers and Thorton. They were booked into the Oklahoma County jail.
