Crews Battle Fire At Midwest City Apartment Complex

Firefighters douses a fully-involved fire at Eden Cove Apartments at N.E. 10th Street and Air Depot.  

An office manager with Eden Cove Apartments, located in the 3800 block of north Oak Grove Dr, told News 9 that all residents in the building the fire was reported in were evacuated safely.  

Midwest City Fire Department received a call around 12:30 p.m. about an apartment fire. When crews arrived, all eight units in the building were fully involved.  Crews began doing door checks when the roof collapsed.  That is when they went into defensive mode.

The fire department is reporting that they have knocked down on the fire and that there were no injuries reported.

The Red Cross is at the scene, helping families affected by the fire.
