First Home Rebuilding Project Gets Underway In Moore

The long road to recovery following the deadly May 20th tornado continues in Moore.

Families and business owners are all at different stages of rebuilding and the clean-up effort there continues as well.

What was left of the houses in Moore has been bulldozed, but near all the destruction the first house in Moore to get a permit to rebuild, a group of volunteers has been working to get the house built.

Operation Blessing is building the house for Barbara Garcia, who lived her for more than four decades.
