Police are looking for several suspects who kidnapped a man and assaulted him early Thursday morning in Oklahoma City.
According to police, at about 6:30 a.m., officers responded to the report of an assault in the 3700 block of S. May Avenue. The victim told police he was sitting in his car outside his apartment at about 5:30 a.m., when two men and a woman approached him.
The victim said the suspects were armed with pistols and forced him into the backseat. They then drove him to Woodson Park, located near S.W. Grand Blvd. and May Ave.
According to the police report, the suspects took the victim's cellphone and his wallet, which contained his driver's license, social security card, two ATM cards, an insurance card, and $80 in cash. The suspects then forced the victim into the trunk of his car and left.
The victim told police that the suspects returned a short time later, and asked him for his PIN number. When the victim was unable to tell them the PIN, the female suspect reportedly pistol-whipped the victim and stabbed his right leg with a screw driver.
The suspects then forced the victim into the trunk again and left the scene. The victim said he was able to force the trunk open and call 911 at a nearby business.
According to police, the female suspect was caught on a surveillance camera at a Starbucks around the time of the attack. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
