Cleveland County Sheriff's Office is sending out a warning about a potential phone scam. It involves the caller impersonating a deputy from the Sheriff's office.

The caller in this instance claims to be "Lieutenant Shipley." The male caller said there was a warrant issued for the person and that they needed to pay a fine.

The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office says these kinds of calls are bogus and you should call them at (405)-701-8888 if you receive one.
