Two Arrested In Connection To Man's Death in SW OKC

Oklahoma City police made two arrests in connection to a man's shooting death on the southwest side.

Police said they received a call on Friday, May 8, from a cab driver who discovered a body near the road on S.W. 59th between Agnew and Villa. 

The victim, later identified as 29-year-old Shawn Scott Stephenson, appeared to have been shot to death, according to police.

On Friday, May 15, police confirmed they have arrested two suspects in this case, 24-year-old Julio Raphael Hernandez and 24-year-old Charlie Joe Hicks III. Both have been booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a first-degree murder complaint.

Both suspects are being held at the jail without bond.
