TRAFFIC ALERT: Overturned Semi Catches Fire On EB I-44 Near Luther

Crews are on the scene of a fire involving an overturned semi just off eastbound Interstate 44 near Luther.

Firefighters were called out to crash near mile marker 146 on EB I-44 in the area of N. Indian Meridian Rd.

The highway has been narrowed down to one lane in the area while crews work the scene.

The cause of the wreck has not been determined. It is unclear if the semi driver was injured. A medical helicopter has been called to the scene.
