Norman police officers and DEA agents raided a store Monday known for selling glass pipes.

The store is called The Friendly Market, and investigators aren’t saying much about what they were looking for.

The police operation started before noon.

The Friendly Market is known for selling smoking accessories, as well as furniture, clothes and special oils.

Police said until they take inventory of what they found during the raid, they won’t have any comment.

Attorneys for The Friendly Market said this is the second time police have raided this store in the past month.

“Our state flag has a peace pipe on it, that if we tried to sell it to Friendly Market, Norman PD would try to find a way to confiscate,” said attorney Blake Lynch.

The Friendly Market’s manager Stephen Tyler Holman also represents Ward 7 on Norman’s City Council. He had no comment.
