An Oklahoma City couple behind bars is accused of more than a hundred counts of child sex crimes.
The disturbing allegations involve a teenager living in their home, and court documents state the accused are related to the teen.
Jamala Monroe-Evans, 28, is in the Oklahoma County jail on a $1.5 million bond. His wife, Kwain Monroe-Evans, 22, is also being held on a $1.4 million bond.
They currently face a total of 137 felony counts each, and stand accused of sexually abusing a 14-year-old child.
The couple was arrested last week after one of the teenager's siblings alerted a counselor at Mayfield Middle School about what was happening at their home.
Court records reveal that a sibling told police that inside the couple’s apartment; they would find "a schedule on a piece of paper" located "inside a bedroom closet door" that laid out when the alleged encounters took place.
Court documents also reveal the sibling had found two homemade sex videos on Jamala's cell phone that showed the 14-year-old.
When questioned by police, Kwain Evans admitted she not only knew about the abuse, but she was present when some of the reported incidents occurred.
Neighbors living at the Monrovia Place apartments say they had no idea what was happening inside the apartment until they saw police knocking on the door last week.
The affidavit states the teenage victim told police the abuse had been happening since October of last year. That is also when the couple took over guardianship of that teenager and two younger siblings.
Formal charges have not yet been filed against the couple, but are expected next week.
