Oklahoma City police are investigating a shooting near Will Rogers Gardens that injured one woman Sunday night.
According to the police report, a man and woman were traveling in a maroon Honda when they stopped at the On Cue at Northwest 23rd and May Ave. just before 10 p.m. Sunday. The man recognized a person at the gas station who then got in a car with two other people and left, according to police.
The man and women then left the gas station heading west on 36th St. with the woman driving, according to the police report. When the victims stopped at a stoplight the suspects' car pulled beside them and the back seat passenger began shooting, investigators said.
The female victim was shot once and pulled into the Will Rogers Gardens where emergency responders were called, police said. According to authorities, the woman was taken to the hospital.
Officers have not released descriptions of the suspects in the case.
