Potato Stamped Dish Cloths

• 1 package flour sack dish cloths (Craft store)
• Large Russet Potatoes
• Cookie Cutters
• Fabric Paint
• Cardboard
• Iron and pressing cloth

1. Peek the top of the potato.
2. Press the cookie cutter 1/2 inch into the peeled part of the potato.
3. Cut away the outside of the cut design to expose the shape.
4. Squeeze out the fabric paint onto a paper plate for easy cleanup.
5. Set the flour sack on top of the cardboard to protect your work surface.
6. Press the potato stamp into the paint and onto the dish cloth.
7. Repeat until your desired design is done.
8. Allow the paint to dry for 24 hours.
9. Use a hot iron to set the design.
10. Wrap with twine and give as gifts to your favorite cook!
