“Here's a guy who's guilty until proven innocent. That's not supposed to have in this. They'll take care of this in the committee,” Inhofe told reporters on Tuesday. When asked if he thought the women were making up the allegations Inhofe suggested they were being coached. "They had a little help, I have a feeling," he said.

News9/Newson6 reached out to Inhofe’s office for clarification, asking who Inhofe believes is helping the accusers, whether he is still planning to vote for Kavanaugh and could his opinion be changed by Thursday’s testimony. His office replied with a link to video of Inhofe which did not answer those questions.

Inhofe has been in the Senate for five previous nomination proceedings. He said Kavanaugh was the most qualified nominee he’s ever seen adding “America is going to win,” after the vote.
