The rain began late Thursday night and lasted all day Friday.

It was a wet day, but the dry air from the cool front finally made its way to Central Oklahoma.

Oklahoma City had a total of 2.28 inches of rainfall. Much of southern Oklahoma reached around five to six inches of rain.

The rain chances will diminish overnight with some spotty light rain or drizzle around Saturday morning.

However, heavy rain and flood threats will continue in Southeast Oklahoma, all day Saturday.

As of now, the metro is expected to stay fairly dry with rain chances of less than 20 percent.
