Four Emerson High School students are arrested after making threats against their school and principal.
According to Oklahoma City police, students were involved in an altercation at Emerson High School, located
Police said four students were involved in an altercation. When students were broken up, they reportedly began yelling that they were going to kill the principal, threw up gang signs and made gun gestures with their hands. The students were pushed outside to get the fight separated and then made more threatening statements against the school, according to officials.
The school was consequently placed on lock-down.
Three students were transported to a juvenile detention facility. One student was transported to the Oklahoma County Jail.
The students face complaints of threatening an act of violence and terrorism.
