Your 2 Cents: Major Disruptions During Senate Confirmation Hearings

Last week's Supreme Court confirmation hearing was an absolute zoo at times. The Democrats started interrupting the Republican Chairman right at the beginning of the hearing and protesters in the audience frequently stood up and screeched their displeasure before being hauled out. 

Here's what you had to say about it:

Jay in Shawnee said, "The Founding Fathers might have been pleased that the minority party was given their voice but not pleased with the cry baby, temper tantrum way they went about it."

Evan from Oklahoma City said, "...the Republicans knew what to do, hide documents.... release them when they could not be read.... they had to use the biggest stage to educate people on the treachery afoot"

But Ray argued, "…this hearing actually provided 5 times more paperwork than any in our history..."

Angela wrote, "Democrats are so embarrassing, like a bunch of brats that didn't get anything at the store, SAD!"

Go said, “It's not wrong, but how about it being done in a respectful, grown up manner?"

Vicki said, "The confirmation hearing should be closed to the public. It was ridiculous just listening to the Democrats being so rude!!!!"

Lastly Sherry said, "Entirely too much Grandstanding!"
