Sassy Signature Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- In a large bowl using a handmixer eat together the brown sugar for sugar and the butter for two minutes.
- Add in the two eggs vanilla baking soda and sea salt.
- Continue beating until creamy.
- Carefully mix in the all purpose flour just until the flower is mixed in.
- Do not over mix the cookie dough.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Once oven comes to temperature place scoops of cookie dough onto baking sheet at least 2 inches apart and bake for 8 to 9 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven allowed to sit for 3 to 4 minutes and then remove from the baking sheet to continue cooling on your parchment lined counter.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
** Sassy Tip - Place two pieces of bread in the bottom of the air tight container and then set a piece of parchment paper on top of the bread and then add your cookies in. That way the bread keeps the cookies moist and chewy and they don't dry out.
