The Associated Press released its Top 25 preseason poll for the 2018 season Monday morning.
Oklahoma secured the No. 7 spot in the first poll for the 2018 season. Oklahoma State University did not place.
Last year's National Championship Alabama secured the No. 1 spot.

Last year, Alabama secured the No. 1 spot in the final Top 25 poll for the 2017 season.
A Baker Mayfield-led Oklahoma ended its season at No. 3 after losing to Georgia during the first round of the National Championship playoff.
A three-loss Oklahoma State ended its season with a No. 14 place finish in the poll.
The AP began releasing polls for college football in 1934.
