The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Bristow man is dead and another Bristow resident is in critical condition Wednesday evening after a two vehicle Creek County crash on Highway 66.

Troopers said the driver of a 2004 Cadillac Deville, 71-year-old Clifford Rosson died at Sapulpa hospital following the crash about 2 miles west of Kellyville just after 6:20 p.m.

A passenger in his car, 71-year-old Patsy Rosson was taken to a Tulsa hospital and was admitted in critical condition.

The OHP report states Shannon Wilson, 36, of Bristow, who was driving a 2015 Kia Sorento, was treated and released from a Tulsa hospital after the crash.

Troopers say the cause of the crash remains under investigation, but in their report, state Wilson was the only person who was using a seat belt at the time of the crash.
