First responders were busy Tuesday night in Southwest Oklahoma City as severe storms caused flash flooding in the area.
The Oklahoma City Fire Department reported assisting 26 vehicles stranded in high water at different locations around 9 p.m.
26 assists for vehicles in high water. We are now responding to a report of a female struck by a vehicle 8300 block S. I-35. -BF 8:53 p.m.

Around 8:30 p.m. Oklahoma Highway Patrol said I-44 southbound from Northwest 23rd Street to Southwest 15th Street was closed due to high water.

As a reminder, motorist are urged not to drive in high water, always turn around.
