CLEVELAND COUNTY, Oklahoma - The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating a person of interest.
Authorities are trying find Amanda Johnson, who may have information regarding an adult male who was transported unconscious to the Norman Regional Hospital with a serious head injury.
Johnson is described as a white female in her mid-30's, approximately 5'4" and 125 lbs. with dark brown hair.

“She brings him in, helps him get into a wheelchair into the hospital. Then, because of where she had parked, she made comments to hospital staff that she needs to move her car. We have not seen her since.” says Sheriff Gibson. “We want to know why she left. But, at the end of the day we don't have enough to say she is involved, or whether she was a good Samaritan that is scared now, or she was under some kind of duress when dropping him off that the hospital.”
He adds Johnson is from a rural portion of southeastern Cleveland County, and that’s possible where the assault occurred. The victim in the case has a severe head trauma.
“There was some information that said he was hit with a baseball bat. Until we know more information, we are just going off what we have been told. That's another reason we want to talk to Ms. Johnson. Was it a baseball bat? Was there something else at play here?” asks Sheriff Gibson.
The victim has not been identified by law enforcement and remains in critical condition.
