One person was stabbed early Thursday during a home invasion in Garvin County, the sheriff's office said.

The home invasion and armed robbery happened about 3 a.m. at a residence southeast of Elmore City in Garvin County.

The sheriff's office received a 911 call about 3:40 a.m. in reference to a person being stabbed. Law officers arrived at a residence in the 28800 block of North County Road 3170 which was about three miles away from where the robbery took place.

One person, a 22-year-old man, was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital after suffering stabbing wounds, the sheriff's office said.

Three people involved in the recovery of the property stolen during the robbery have been detained and are being interviewed, Sheriff Larry Rhodes said.

The three were located at a residence in Davis.
