The watch was issued due to the threat of damaging winds and hail.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to form southwest of the metro and move southeast, late Saturday evening.
According to Meteorologist Justin Rudicel, large hail and damaging winds are the largest risk for this evenings storms, but there is a small tornado threat.
