The NBA Draft starts at 6 p.m. in Brooklyn, New York.

The draft has been good to the Thunder organization which selected Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Steven Adams.

But the Thunder might be playing the waiting game tonight.

At the moment, Oklahoma City does not have a pick in Round One. You maybe asking why? Back in 2015, the Thunder traded for Enes Kanter and this year's pick ended up being apart of the trade with Utah.

Thunder-GM Sam Presti stays active on draft, so I wouldn't rule anything out.

Two years ago, the Thunder didn't have a first round pick either, and then traded Serge Ibaka to Orlando on draft night which delivered the 11th overall pick;  Domas Sabonis to Oklahoma City, along with Victor Oladipo and Ersan Illyasova.

Going into Thursday night, Oklahoma City owns two selections in Round Two; number 53 and number 57.  I wouldn't count out Sam trading both of those picks to move up in the draft, that could mean possibly moving a player.

Meanwhile, OU's Trae Young shouldn't have to wait long to hear his name called. He's a projected top ten selection. Having the chance to follow the NBA much closer the last three years, Trae's game is a good match at the next level.
