A mother and her boyfriend have been arrested for killing a 2-year-old baby in Lincoln County.

Judith Danker, 19, and Khristian Tyler Martzall, 27, have been arrested this week in Lincoln County after investigators said they said Danker and her boyfriend had been abusing 2-year-old Braxton Danker for the past several months.

The  baby died Sunday night at Edmond Integris from severe head trauma, according to state officials.

Danker called 911 moments earlier as she tried to rush him to the hospital.

Deputies say Braxton stopped breathing.

The frantic 911 call Danker made to dispatchers has since been released.

Danker: “I went outside and I came back in and he wasn’t breathing. I can’t hear his heartbeat.”

911 dispatcher: “Where is your address?”

Danker: “I took off and I am going to Integris.”

Dispatch then told Judith Danker to pull over near the county line to meet-up with an ambulance.

Danker: (Crying)

911 Dispatcher: “Ma’am?”

Danker: “He is purple.”

911 Dispatcher: “Say that again.”

Danker: “He is purple. He is turning purple.”

After arriving at Integris, Braxton passed away.

Investigators say his body was badly bruised and caught the attention of paramedics.

“Bruising all over the body, we have broken bones to the body,” First Assistant District Attorney for Lincoln And Pottawatomie counties, Adam Panter, said.

Deputies obtained a search warrant for the couple’s home in Wellston off South Ash in Wellston.

Officials say the two had only been living there for two weeks but had no running water.

Neighbors say they thought the property was vacant.

“I still can't hardly believe it. If I had known anything like that happened I would have intervened, or tried to, but I didn't know they lived there,” Laurie Dillon, who lives across the street, said. “I don't know, it's hard for me because I am a grandma. I don't understand it.”

Court documents state deputies found a belt used to hit the child inside the home.

It was also reported that Braxton had not seen a doctor in about a year.

Assistant District Attorney Adam Panter says in his 10 years practicing law that this is the worst abuse and neglect he's seen.

“Numerous, numerous open wounds, very large open wounds, one possibly gangrene had already set in,” Panter said.

Panter said there was a DHS investigation, but the report was not complete.

Criminal investigations will continue to find out if others saw the abuse and failed to report it to law enforcement.

Panter said Braxton’s death was completely preventable.
