Norman Mother Speaks Out After Her Daughter Was Brutally Murdered

Posted: Updated:
NORMAN, Oklahoma -

The mother of murder victim, Brittani Young described the justice she wants after her daughter was brutally murdered inside a Norman apartment last month.

Brittani's mother, Stacy Roberts-Rasberry said she found her daughter at the Emerald Green Apartments with severe head trauma, lifeless on the floor.

"I went on my knees and put my hands on her to ask if she was ok, and I knew she wasn't ok, but I just wanted to make sure that she was not there no more," said Stacy.

Stacy said she wasn't alone in the room. Brittani's best friend, and her friends child had been kidnapped by the suspect, 29-year-old Joseph Alliniece.

Police said Alliniece ran from the apartments, but was caught hours later in Oklahoma City.

The suspect had known the victim for years.

Brittani's family is hoping Alliniece will receive the death penalty.

"He doesn't deserve to breath. He doesn't deserve to eat bologna sandwiches. He doesn't deserve anything," said Stacy.

Days before the murder, Stacy said he told her he wanted to marry her daughter. Now, she's warning others about the dangers of domestic violence.

"I hope no mother ever has to see their daughter laying dead and her face, her face. He didn't just punch her. He kicked her and he caved her face in. He caved her face in. For what? Why? Why? Why? Why? She was so beautiful," said Stacy

Joseph Alliniece has a history of assault in his home state of Texas.

The victim's family said had they known that, they might have been able to protect Brittani.
