Thursday morning will see some scattered showers and storms in northwest and northern Oklahoma.

Heavy storms may produce up to 40 mph wind gusts and small hail. No severe weather is expected. A slight chance of spotty showers could be expected in the metro.

Thursday could see storms track southeast and fizzle out throughout the morning. The weather will become sunny into Thursday afternoon. Highs once again are hot pushing the upper 80s. Winds from the south will be 20-30 mph. Thursday night will be clear and quiet with lows dropping into the mid 60s.

Friday will mostly be sunny, hot, humid and windy. Temperatures push 90 into the afternoon. Winds will pick up with gusts up to 35-40 mph. Friday night will be clear and mild with lows in the upper 60s.

Saturday will be hot, sunny and mainly dry with highs at 90.

Mother's Day will see a chance of storms, some possible severe. Wind and hail will be the main threats with any storm potential. Otherwise it is still hot at 90 for a high temperature.

Next week will see a daily chance of showers and storms early to mid next week. Temperatures continue to be above average in the mid to upper 80s most of the week.
