OKLAHOMA CITY -

A pursuit involving a motorcycle ended in a crash in southwest Oklahoma City Tuesday.

Authorities were in pursuit of a stolen motorcycle out of Edmond.

Officials say an officer on routine patrol ran the tag of the motorcycle, and soon realized that it had been stolen.

The pursuit initially began on NW 23rd and N. Roff Ave., and ended in the downtown area of SW 7th and Walker when the suspect crashed.

The suspect was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
