McIntosh County Sheriff's Deputies Arrest Purcell Kidnapping Suspect

McIntosh County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Purcell kidnapping suspect at a home Sunday evening, officials said. 

Police initiated a manhunt after Floyd Joseph Ball, kidnapped his ex-girlfriend, Joanna Higgins at knife point from the Subway she worked at.

According to officials, the McIntosh County Sheriff's responded to a home west of Checotah in attempt to locate Ball. When authorities arrived, Ball attempted to flee initiating a short pursuit, and ball was taken into custody. 

Higgins was located inside the residence with injuries, and was transported to the hospital.

Ball is being held at the McIntosh County Sheriff's Department without bail pending further investigation, officials said.
