Fire Consumes NW OKC Home

Posted: Updated:

Firefighters were battling a house fire Thursday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

The fire was reported about 9:45 a.m. in the 1100 block of N Ellison Avenue.

A person living in the home told fire crews the fire was in the back bedroom, and everyone was out of the home.

Neighbors told firefighters the three-story home was vacant but several people had been living in the home for years.

The fire quickly spread to rest of the house, but firefighters do not know the cause of the fire.
