OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma state auditor responded to allegations of financial mismanagement at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, saying that there was no evidence of any wrongdoing.

According to a report Tuesday morning from News 9's Grant Hermes, the district attorney in Ada asked State Auditor Gary Jones to investigate whether nearly a quarter billion from the ODOT budget has been mishandled.

Jones said a statement would be forthcoming but that there was no evidence of criminal activity.

Officials with ODOT fired back as well.
