OKLAHOMA CITY - Two men were transported to the hospital after a hair salon fire in Oklahoma City Friday evening. 

According to officials, firefighters responded to a fire at Creations Hair Salon in Northwest Oklahoma city at 8:20 p.m. The fire was initially reported as a gas explosion, but firefighters said they believe this was a small explosion and fire caused by acetone that was close to a heat source. 

Emergency crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly, and the building suffered little damage. 

The two men are reported to have multiple burn injuries.
