OKCPS To End School Year On May 29

Oklahoma City Public Schools will end the school year on May 29 instead of May 31. 

The district was able to reevaluate the calendar minutes and found they did not need the extra two days.

Official said they will serve May 30 and 31 as snow days in case they need to add instructional time due to inclement weather or other emergencies.

The district will keep the additional hour of instruction every school day through May 29.
