VICI, Oklahoma -

The State Department of Emergency Management is still surveying damage from the recent wildfires in northwest Oklahoma, but indications are that 100 homes have burned.

News 9 anchor Amanda Taylor went to Vici, Oklahoma, to tell some of the personal stories behind the destruction.

In just a 10-mile radius, News 9 was able to find about 19 families who lost their homes. Even though the homes are spread apart, the families told News 9 they couldn't possibly feel closer to one another.
