A notorious murder spree of four people in Craig County went unsolved for more than 18 years.

Monday, Craig County’s District Attorney announced an arrest. On December 30th 1999, Danny and Kathy Freeman were found shot dead in their mobile home in Welch. The Freeman’s 16-year-old daughter Ashley and her 16-year-old friend Lauria Bible have been missing ever since.

66-year-old Ronnie Busick has been charged with four counts of murder, kidnapping and arson. The D.A. says Busick had two accomplices who have died since the murders.

Lauria Bible’s mother Lorene said there’s more to be done. “It’s been 18 years, three months and 26 days to this point, and we’re not finished, you know it’s just a start. I will not stop until we bring the girls home,” she said.

There’s still a $50,000 reward for information.
