Moderate To Heavy Rain, Lightning Moving Through Central Oklahoma

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY -

A nice, steady rain, heavy at times, will inch its way across central Oklahoma, Saturday.

A few lightning strikes made it into the Oklahoma City Metro, but most of the lightning was along the Red River. One more round of scattered showers moved across western and central OK later Saturday morning into the early afternoon.

The lightning remained mainly in southern Oklahoma and north Texas, with a few strikes around Chickasha. The rain will continue to move across the metro and will move east throughout Saturday.

Temperatures in Oklahoma City will range between the 40's and 50's Saturday.
