Burglars Steal $10K Worth Of Tools From SW OKC Business

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police are looking for three burglars who took thousands of dollars-worth of tools from a metro business.

Three people wearing masks broke in and took dozens of tools from the Fastenal, an industrial supply distributor, located on S. Meridian Avenue, Tuesday. The store’s manager estimates the loss, plus damage to the building, tallies up to $10,000.

Police now say there’s a chance the three burglars could get caught thanks to one suspect who took off his mask while surveillance cameras were rolling.

“That gives us a very good look at his face. It's a good enough look that, if you know him, you should recognize him,” Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Police ask anyone with information on this burglar, or if you recognize the suspect, to call Crime Stoppers 405-235-7300.
