NORMAN, Oklahoma -

University of Oklahoma police responded to a power outage and possible gas leak on campus, Thursday evening.

According to the university's Twitter account, police were on scene at 3rd and 4th Streets off Asp Avenue. 

As a precaution, residents were asked to evacuate Walker Tower.

Around 8:15 p.m., police gave the "all clear".
