Investigation Underway After Death Of Oklahoma County Inmate

OKLAHOMA CITY -

An investigation is underway following the death of an Oklahoma County Jail inmate.

According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office, 63-year-old Richard Hold was transported a local hospital to be treated for a preexisting medical condition on Saturday, April 14. He died on Sunday, April 15.

The sheriff’s office says Holt was booked into the OK County Jail Tuesday, March 20, on a charge of making a bomb threat.

The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the exact cause of death. Once the cause of death is determined and the investigation is complete, the case will be turned over the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office for review.
