Sources tell News On 6 that another Bixby student came forward Wednesday to say he was also sexually assaulted by a football player.

Sources said that boy was 15-years-old and while authorities say they don't have a lot of information yet on this case, they are taking it seriously.

The boy said it happened before the September incident at the Superintendent's house.

News On 6 was told the school called police and an officer took an initial report.

Sources said the boy told them two suspects were involved and one of them was also involved in the September case.

Sources said police determined this new case happened in Tulsa County.

So far, only Bixby Public Schools and the Tulsa County District Attorney released statements to News On 6.

The school said in part, "... if BPS gets any report of any kind of potential assault on a student, we will immediately report to all proper authorities, investigate for the safety of our students, and pursue any/all interventions that are appropriate."

District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler said that his office was told Thursday that there may be a separate investigation.

Kunzweiler said, "there may be a separate investigation taking place regarding a player/players on the Bixby football team, we are not in a position to comment on the investigation. We will let the investigative authorities do their job and report to us if and when they believe it becomes necessary."

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation confirmed it was looking into a second rape case.

Already under investigation is a sexual assault reported in September 2017.

Court records say four students admitted to participating in the sexual assault that happened at former school superintendent Kyle Wood’s home in September, and a fifth admitted to recording it on video.

The documents say each student also identified the other student involved in the incident.

An affidavit says this investigation is looking into the sexual assault, whether the school reported it in a timely manner to authorities and if anyone tried to prevent a police investigation.

An affidavit says the victim was upstairs at Wood's home when he was held down by other football players and sexually assaulted.

In addition to Wood, Principal Terry Adams, Athletic Director Jay Bittle and Head Football Coach Loren Montgomery are also mentioned in the affidavit.

Cell phones and email communications concerning the sexual assault were seized from Wood, Adams and Bittle, along with four students.

The Rogers County District Attorney’s Office is leading the investigation after the Tulsa County D.A.’s Office recused itself due to a conflict of interest.

Former Superintended Kyle Wood resigned after the sexual assault was reported.

A release from Wood’s representatives says, “In light of recent events, Dr. Wood decided it was in the best interests of the Bixby School District, the Bixby community, and his family to step away at this time.”

The release goes on to say, “The media’s reporting of recent events has, in several important ways, been inaccurate, misleading and incomplete. Dr. Wood did not violate any law regarding reporting of child abuse; nor has he violated any District rule or policy. Because of the pending investigation, Dr. Wood will not litigate this case in the press. Instead, Dr. Wood will continue to cooperate with law enforcement officials, and continue to respect District Attorney Matt Ballard’s investigative process.”

The resignation agreement states Wood will be paid all of his regular salary and benefits through October 31st of 2018.
