Firefighters Quickly Put Out SW OKC House Fire

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Fire crews were able to quickly put out a house fire in southwest Oklahoma City.

The fire was reported about 4:45 a.m. in the 3600 block of S Meta Avenue near SW 36 and Portland Avenue. 

The fire was quickly put out and the residents were able to get out of the home before firefighters arrived.

The fire is actively burning at least 6 miles long.  According to officials, Air Attack platform and Type 1 Helitanker have been ordered.  This is a developing story.
