Owasso Walgreens Robbed At Gunpoint

Owasso Police say an armed man robbed the Walgreens at 116th Street North and Highway 169 around 11:25 a.m.

The man showed a handgun to an employee working at a pharmacy window, according to Deputy Chief of Police Jason Woodruff.

"The suspect demanded cash and pain medication, receiving only the small amount of cash from the register due to the remaining items being secured in a locked safe," Woodruff said.

They posted a photo of the suspect with a message:

"We are currently working an armed robbery at Walgreens on 116th. If you recognize this person, contact the Owasso Police Department."

No one was hurt, according to Owasso Police.
