The Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after they say a teenager was tied up and robbed during a home invasion.

Deputies said just after 11:00 Thursday morning, Wagoner County 911 took a call of an armed home invasion near 50th Street North and Highway 69.

The caller reported his neighbor, a 13-year-old boy, was tied up and robbed.

Deputies said the teen, who was home sick from school, told them he was in his room when he heard someone enter the home. He said three suspects tied him up with an electronics cable and put a pair of shorts over his head.

They said the teen was afraid to leave the house after the men left and he remained inside 20 minutes before going to a neighbor's house for help.

"Accolades to him. He encountered three armed robbery home invasion suspects who forced their way into the home and threatened him with bodily harm - tied him up and threatened to shoot him, covered his head, and he remained calm and cool and was able to provide us with significant information," Sheriff Chris Elliott said.

The family has security cameras that recorded the suspects coming and going through the house, pointing guns.

They said the suspects stole guns, TVs and a dirt bike.

Deputies said although the suspects tied up the teen and threatened to kill him, they did not physically hurt him.

"He told me that whenever they told him to get on the ground and not look at them and they covered his face and he started praying to God," the teen's mother said.

The sheriff said the suspects appear to be in their mid-20s and were driving a dark 90s-model Chevy Tahoe.

Deputies have reason to believe they could be in the Red Bird or Muskogee area. Elliott believes they will be able to locate the men.

"I have great hopes and expectations that when we get this video out, that someone from the public is going to call the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office and tell us who those suspects are so we can get them in custody," he said.

Deputies said the men should be considered armed and dangerous and anyone that sees them should not confront them.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office at 918-485-3124.
