Police say a man shot at officers early Tuesday from a car they were chasing.

The chase ended near Gilcrease Museum Road and Highway 412, where two men got out and ran.

Officers used a K9 officer and their helicopter to search for the suspects. They arrested one in a backyard just before 6:30 a.m.

Police blocked off part of MB Brady Street between Gilcrease Museum Road and 29th West Avenue as they searched for the second suspect.

They say the chase began when officers tried to stop a car matching the description of a vehicle involved in Tulsa County armed robbery at 4 a.m. Police haven't said where exactly that armed robbery took place.

During the chase, police said someone in the suspect car started shooting at officers. They said eventually one officer returned fire and that officer is on administrative leave.

Police say no officers were injured.

They are still searching for the second person in the car.
