Crews responded to a wildfire in the SE Oklahoma City, Wednesday afternoon.
Around 2:00 p.m., firefighters responded to the 5100 block of E. I-240, between Sunny Lane and Sooner Rd.
Firefighters worked quickly to get the fire under control.
According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, four abandoned out buildings burned.
OKCFD says, a homeless person admitted to catching one of the out buildings on fire with a propane cooking device, which caused the fire.
TAC 3: Update 5100 block E I 240. 5 acres of grass and 4 abandoned outbuildings burned. A homeless person admitted to catching one of the buildings on fire with propane cooking device which caused the grass fire. Fire is contained.
