A Northwest Oklahoma City woman is crediting a cellphone app with the quick apprehension of two alleged burglars.

Deborah Collins says she was at her church, and her husband was at work, when two young suspects burglarized their home, not far from Taft Stadium.

The Collins both have the cellphone App “Ring”, which not only sends automatic alerts when someone is at your front door, it videotapes them.

Deborah says the young alleged thieves stole a small amount of cash, credit cards, and a small computer, before police got there around 10:30 a.m.

By Tuesday afternoon, both suspects were in custody.

“Their lives will never be the same,” said Deborah. “I am going to pray that the Lord will just get hold of them and not let go of them, till he makes them what he wants them to be. And they better hold on to their hats, because of lot of times that’s a rocky ride.”

Police say the case is still under investigation.
