Two people were caught on camera stealing a spool of copper from an OG&E facility in southeast OKC.

Officials said, on Nov. 21, police responded to a larceny in progress at an OG&E facility located in the 900 block of SE 10th St., where two suspects were seen on surveillance camera loading up the spool of copper.

Police said, when authorities arrived they found that the northwest gate had been left open, and the chain had been cut.

According to report, the security company had video of the theft taking place. Footage shows a white male and a white female pulling into the lot in a black Chevy extended cab truck. The male is seen loading a spool of the listed copper wire into the truck, officials said.

Police said the truck appears to be a 1990’s model truck with a chrome bar tailgate.

If you can identify the people photographed, call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300 or leave a tip online at www.okcrimetips.com.
