Police in Norman say they are searching for a mother and her two children, last seen in late August.
Authorities tell News 9, 59-year-old Rita Bump and her two children, 5-year-old Riley and 2-year-old Stormy, were last seen at their home in Norman on Aug. 31.
Investigators believe the family might be traveling in a black 2013 Honda Accord with Oklahoma license plate numbers 397KXL *or* GGP981. Police did not elaborate on why the two plate numbers were given.
A missing persons’ report was filed with Norman Police on Nov. 13. Investigators say they have no reason to believe Bump or her children are in danger. However, her family is concerned about her welfare, and say that she did not inform them that she’d be leaving for an extended period of time.
Anyone with information regarding Bump or her children or their whereabouts, is asked to call Detective Derrick Hopkins at (405) 366-5232.
