Cyber criminals may be out of luck in Oklahoma this holiday season.
A new study finds the Oklahomans are less likely to be victims of cyber crime.
Privatetunnel.com, owned by a company that helps small businesses maintain Internet security analyzed FBI crime reports from 2015 and 2016.
The study found Oklahomans have a relatively low chance of having their identity or banking account information stolen while shopping online--ranking in at number 26.
In 2016, Oklahomans lost more than $15 million to Internet crime. That breaks down to an average of about $6,000 per victim, with males over the age of 60 the most likely victims.
