Gundy Turns Down Tennessee, Stays At OSU
STILLWATER - The statewide nightmare is over, Mike Gundy is staying at Oklahoma State. Gundy more or less made the news official Tuesday night, with a tweet that said, "Cowboy For Life!"
College football insider Brett McMurphy first reported that Gundy was staying and not going to Tennessee.
McMurphy said The Volunteers offered him a 6-year, $42-million deal, about $3-million more per year than what he is making at OSU.
The Cowboys will play in a bowl game for the 12th year in a row this season.
Gundy has been the head coach at his alma mater since 2005.
